By the way, since my pre-post natal was fully supported by my company, then since my due date was less then 2 months away, I've called my company 1NG medical insurance care line for me to get Guarantee Letter. As I spoke to helpdesk, they only grant GL that only valid for 1 month. I insist them to have it to extend up to 2 months but they said just call them back if need to get it extend when the date expired.
Ok la.. what are the service.. nevermind la.. since they willing to pay GDex service just to send the letter. Anyway, last Saturday, I do received the copy of GL from them but what surprise me was, the letter will be expired by end of the year. It start confusing me. My husband call the line to confirm the validity of the letter. The helpdesk just inform us, if we deliever the baby at government hospital, then the validity of the GL will be longer unless if we deliever at any private hospital than the validity will be only a month.
Ok guys, I'm not really bother about the validity, what make me "unsatisfied" about their service is, you call helpdesk (that suppose to HELP you) giving you a different answers/intructions. I mean hello... tak dak system kaaa...? Actually this thing always happen many times when we dial help line numbers. Different helpdesk going to provide you different answers over the same question. Hello Helpdesk out there, if you are not so confident over answer, you may asked you senior/manager before providing a good answer to your customer... Pls don't bullsh*ting on us as you may caught in the act and going to effect your company image. You already waste our time on calling you. Some more we have to pay our phone bills. You may create no different between your proffesional company with company who practicing bureaucracy. The only different is we pay you higher then them.
I know not all Helpdesk service company pay a good salary to all the helpdesk. Most of management think that they just there just to answer common question to their customer. Just a value added service la konon... And some company just follow the current trend... But actually if you realise, these people actually is the most front people who represent the whole picture of the company. So management please be extra careful when you hiring people to take phone support/service call.
