Taichi-ing Power

Wednesday, December 07, 2005

December is a month that I work with less stress since most of my user taking leave/holiday. Its their company policy to finish off their annual leave. So apa lagi mama goyang kaki je la... asik-asik browse website. For sure Border Manager report for end of this month, the most web browsing of non-business related will fall under our group... hehehe... Who cares anyway..

So yesterday, I receiving a report that 10 users unable to connect to 1 new server at Bangi due to IP address conflict. Apahal la pulak server Bangi problem pass kat kitorang as we only handling servers at KLCC. So I asked Helpdesk to re-transfer the report to custodian of the server. And the best part, the person that made a report is a custodian. It's like mechanic send his car to another workshop to fix his car. Camana tu?.. Well this is part of working environment at my place. taichi-maichi is common here. Mostly, vendor la yg kena teruk. Since they have no idea on how to fix the problem, they just create a report and taichi to vendor to investigate. But as for me, after 4 years served them, I know how to Taichi back the report. Ya laa.. nothing to do with us..mcm birocracy pon ade...

So, if I Im leaving this place, I know what to tell my boss. The new candidates MUST have 4-5 years working experience with Super Taichi skills. It's important to keep our role/job scope as per write on the contract paper. It's not I'm is person yg suka berkira, but since ever I join this project, there are so many changes and add on services and best effort services that have been done. Hello.. we are not providing welfare service. It's all about business nothing personal.

But my boss also said to me that, its OK for us to give them 'extra' service. Ya I know.. It's for long term business.. I do understand. But I really don't like when people take for granted of our 'kindness'. If ada unsur-unsur politik lagi la tak suka.

Politics and Malaysia will never ever can be seperated. Tak kira la if you work with gomen or private. It must exist kalau tak byk pon, sikit-sikit mesti tempias. Because of this 'dirty' politics, a lot of policy was not followed/applied for certain people. Even the policy state ALL members tapi for 'certain' people to pejam mata. When audit come to check the practice, all hancus..And because of this dirty politics also can cause staff lain merana. Because of nak jaga kerusi sendiri, sanggup letak duri atas kerusi org lain. Pastu act like nothing happen.

It sound unfair. But we have to admit that is reality. The point is either it can be change or not is up to us. The change will not going to be happen in one night. It may take 100 years. But if we start it somewhere, the 'revolusion' will take place.

Am I sound merepek today? Hehehe... anyway congratulation to you that you manage to read until this line. :p

Just enjoy the song.

2 cheers!!:

Well, me myself never hv interest in politics.
They all bulls**t!!
In order to gain ppl trusty, they all made false promises. Hey, rules are made to be broken rite? Same as promise too. Sapa yang tepati janji?? I dun think so.. Even janji kita pada Tuhan pun di abaikan. Kewajipan di tunda.. camne tu..?

Oppsie.. pjg laks commentary nye. Hehe.. sorry! Btw.. politics + politician sucks!(takmo mengundi laa next election..)
