Machine Vs. Paper

This coming June my 5 years project will be ended the contract and I will be back to my HQ. Some of my colleague will be stay here as they accept the offer from our so called business partner/client/competitor.

For the past 5 years, I’ve been doing 97% technical job and less paper work. So damn happy!!.. Everyday I come to work; I only have to worry about user’s machine, network and servers. It’s a routine job. In order for you to join my team is a basic technical skill & knowledge and power skills on common sense and logic.

5 years doing the same thing, I almost do not appreciate my skill. I feel down sometime. But after we got a trainee for us to train, I just realize that my routine job it’s not that easy. I don’t know. Could be that I don’t have a good skill on training people or my ‘student’ are not smart enough?? Heheheh….

Anyway, I’ve been offered by my boss to move to Marketing Dept. It’s a little bit surprise actually because he (my boss) knows that I’m not a kind of mesra-mesra with people and most of all he knows that I hate doing documentation. But it’s also a good challenge for me to move from technical group to money minded group. Plus I have to compete with my husband that currently working with our competitor. Yaa.. he also marketing/sales rep for his company. Tee he he…

For this moment, I’m considering the offer. Test power tengok for 6 months. Or else I will request to move back to my technical team.
